A few thoughts before I loose coverage...

Thanks youtube, for letting me upload a video that was too long for your guidelines. Can't you tell this to me before I wait 45min for the upload to finish?

Wegmans! Great supermarket experience (so far, I'm not out of the store yet).

So I'm 20 north of the park and I have to say that so far, it seems like the forest and land in the north east is very similar from at least VA to Vermont. This must have been dreadfully confusing to the settlers and explorers who first got here.

I wonder when the look and feel of the woods will change. Obviously a place like California has at least 4 or 5 different types of climates and terrain. Growing up in the north east and vacationing on the seashores of the Northeast, I'm very familiar with the feel of the forests and how they fade out into pines and brush as you get to the shore. Its kind of formulaic, and it seems like its going to be the same down as far as maybe Georgia. Then Florida, I think, has its own version of swamp, highland and coastal beach and the various flavors that result as the blend in certain areas.

That brings me back to my main question. How many climate/types of terrain exist in the US. I don't know the proper word for what I asking (terrain/climate), I really mean vegetative zone or something like that. If someone wants to do some wikipedia searching, I'd love to read the page that really lays this out :)

One last question before I go and repurchase some food that I forgot in Nick's fridge... Aren't those baby slings that go diagonal across the shoulder terrible for the back? Its completely asymmetrical. Well they are popular, but they look like an ergo-nightmare.

I'm turning off my blackberry to save battery.
Bye

  2. I think they are really helpful for mothers who need to carry their baby and do the odd jobs around the house.
