Stuck in the rain

So I'm not sure how long it will last but its been raining since about 30min after I got into my tent last night. So we are cocooned here until it let's up. WOW, I wish I was about 200yards closer to the privy right now. That, and my food stuffs are all over near the hut on the bearpole. So I will need to get up soo, put on my raingear, and just deal w it.

I wonder what this mean for the two guys that are staying in the shelter tonight... They were going to hike back out to their car about 10miles away today (they did an out and back on a section of the AT). I offered them a ride if it came to that. One of the forecast had small hail in it from a town 10miles away so were making alt plans before we went to bed last night.

So I am off to Farmville after this. I hope to take a shower and cut my fingernails on the way there LOL
And hopefully I can get a day or two of research in at a local library or something in addition to camping and exploring my cousin's land.

Ok, its time to get my gear on :)
